The cold trap is a device that traps steam and adsorbed gas by condensation (cooling catcher). It is suitable for gas condensation capture, low-temperature liquid bath, oil and gas recovery, material test, drug freeze-drying and other purposes.

VaporCool P series is a mechanically cooled pot type cold trap, which can protect expensive vacuum pumps from harmful steam, because harmful steam will shorten the life of vacuum pumps. Harmful gas constitutes any condensable gas, such as water vapor. When water vapor enters the vacuum pump oil, it will cause emulsification or deterioration of the lubricating oil, and eventually damage the vacuum pump.

VaporCool P series cold trap is composed of a stainless steel box with good heat insulation. It is cooled by direct expansion of refrigerant in the refrigeration pipeline directly connected to the wall of the box. This refrigeration mode is a high-efficiency and energy-saving refrigeration mode.

The working temperature of VaporCool P series cold trap is - 30 ℃ or - 120 ℃. The standard of cold trap is 4L, 6L, 8L and larger customized sizes.

When used together with vacuum pump, it can capture the water vapor and toxic and harmful gases discharged from the vacuum pumping equipment, improve the working efficiency of vacuum equipment, significantly reduce the steam intake of vacuum pump, and extend the service time of vacuum pump. The cold trap temperature adopts digital display mode, which is convenient to determine the starting time of the vacuum pump and prevent water from being pumped into the pump
