Requirements for temperature and humidity in electronic and electrical testing laboratories

For the environmental temperature and humidity of electronic laboratories, RB/T 047-2020 "General Requirements for Management and Technical Capability Evaluation Facilities and Environment of Inspection and Testing Institutions" does specify the temperature and humidity of laboratories (6.2.1 Environmental Temperature 16-26 ℃, Relative Humidity 30% -65%), but this standard is specific to the entire industry and does not take into account the particularity of electronic laboratories.
The testing of electronic and electrical products can be roughly divided into two types: environmental testing and electrical testing.
Environmental testing: This laboratory has various large equipment, such as climate test chambers, vibration tables, thermal shock test chambers, salt spray test chambers, etc.
During the testing process, the sample is usually placed in a test chamber and subjected to different temperature and humidity levels according to the testing requirements. At this point, the environmental temperature and humidity are not as important for the test sample. It should be noted that incorrect environmental temperature and humidity may pose a risk of damage to the equipment.
During vibration testing and sample handling, it is necessary to prevent the risk of damage to the samples caused by static electricity.
The IEC 60068 series of standards is about environmental testing. In IEC 60068-1 "Environmental Testing - General Requirements", the requirements for temperature and humidity are as follows:

Electrical testing: By changing the electrical conditions of the product, different input voltages, interference sources, and loads are used to test the electrical performance of the product.
This laboratory has many precision instruments, such as programmable power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, electrostatic generators, and EMC equipment.
Among numerous electrical tests, ESD testing has a relatively special requirement for the environment: ISO 10605 "Electrical Disturbance Caused by Static Electricity in Road Vehicles"

IEC61000-4-2 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing and Measurement Techniques - Electrostatic Discharge Test" 8.1.2
IEC60335-1 "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - General requirements" specifies some tests such as overvoltage and leakage current.
As a professional electronic laboratory, the recommended temperature and humidity conditions are: temperature: 20-35 ℃, optimal temperature: 20 ℃, humidity: 30% -60% RH, optimal 30% RH.
